Artesia Animal Shelter

A brand new 4,200 sq.ft. building consisting of 44 brand new cat and dog kennels. The facility consist of new offices, food prep areas, a treatment room, and dog isolation and euthansia to better serve employee needs and expectations. Project was kept under budget with an amount of the contengency fund refunded to the owner.

City of Carlsbad:

Carlsbad Police Station

41,562 sp. ft.  four-story structure; gutted/abated; renovated to accommodate offices, conference rooms, dispatch, evidence storage, booking crime labs, interrogation, holding cells, and emergency operations; future exercise room, locker rooms and indoor firing range.

Pecos River Village Conference Center

The renovation of the 5,344 sq.ft. Carousel House and the addition of 12,315 sq.ft. Pecos River Village Conference Center.  Complete with meeting rooms, gathering corridor, and artifact gallery.  

Carlsbad Public Library

Renovation of 29,606 sq. ft. Spanish-Pueblo style building including replacing severely deteriorated exterior wood beams, columns, and corbels; windows, EIFS, ADA compliance, new carpet, ceilings, lighting, exterior doors, charge desk, new covered courtyard roof, HVAC, and electrical systems. In each case great care was taken to preserve the character of the building.

Carlsbad City Hall

Renovation of 22,649 sq. ft. two-story territorial style building including ADA compliance, new entrances, windows, EIFS, reroofing, corridor ceilings, doors, carpet, lighting, plumbing, and HVAC. Preserving the building’s architectural character was a major design criteria.

Town of Hagerman

Hagerman Town Hall

Renovation of the 6,509 sq.ft. old city hall and fire station.  Building was completely abated, refinished, abd redesigned to house the police chief fire chief, city council members, many other city officals, and large town hall meeting room.

City of Hobbs

Agnes Kastner Head Community Center

The renovation for the Agnes Kastner Head Community Center was a complete exterior renovation with the addition of a hallway spanning from the community center to the multipurpose room.  The building possessed existing designed precast concrete panels and a brick veneer finish.  The design carefully considered preserving the historic integrity of the building while adding new larger windows to provide more light for the interior. There was also a designed landscape scheme provided.
