Artesia Public Schools

Grand Heights Early Childhood Education Center

An 8,969 sq. ft. addition which includes a 3,600 sq. ft. multi-purpose room, a kitchen, new restrooms, offices and a workroom.  In 2003 sixteen classrooms, restrooms, a utility room and a mechanical room were added.

Artesia High School Bulldog Bowl- Pressbox, Field House & Stadium Suites

A total of 10,685 sq. ft. including complete renovation of the existing press box, camera deck, concession, and restrooms; 6,461 sq. ft. addition consisting of stadium suites,restrooms, storage, and new elevator.  Accomplished with a very tight schedule for design and construction.  The construction documents, bidding, and contract had to be completed in time for construction to begin at the end of the 2008 football season to be completed by the start of the 2009 season.

Artesia High School Gym "Bulldog Pit"

43,625 sq. ft. facility consisting of three full-size basketball courts, locker rooms, weight room, team room, offices, concession, public restrooms, and seating for 3,200 spectators; equipment, HVAC, electrical, and site work.

Penasco Elementary School

8,000 sq. ft. facility consisting of a multi-purpose room (auditorium/gym),  with retractable stage, basketball court, classrooms, science lab, storage, and restrooms; utilizing natural lighting and maintaining views of the Rio Penasco.

Central Elementary

14,000 sq. ft. of new construction and 4,000 sq. ft. of renovation consisting of a new multi-purpose room with retractable stage, basketball court, five new classrooms, storage, and new restrooms; renovation of the existing restrooms, teacher’s lounge, and workroom.

Artesia High School Music Building

The AHS Music Building was  designed to accommodate both interior and exterior use.  The front lawn and concert space allowed, during weather permitting days, for band to perform outside.  The 7,010 sq. ft. addition consists of separate band and choir rehearsal rooms, instrument rooms, practice rooms, offices, music library, dressing rooms, and restrooms.

Yeso Elementary

A new 54,646 sq. ft. facility consisting of 24 classrooms, media center (with fully accessible story pit), administrative offices, multi-purpose room, kitchen, and restrooms; complete with all equipment, HVAC, electrical, paving and site work including drop-off / pick-up lanes, bus loop, parking, and playground.

Hobbs Municipal Schools

Freshman High School

The design of a new 120,000 square foot facility consisting of administrative offices, Classrooms, and multipurpose room. The center serves as the High School Transition for Freshmen in Hobbs, New Mexico. Completed on time. Frank Mackay Architect @ Greer Stafford SJCF

Carlsbad Public Schools

Ralph Boyer Cavemen Stadium

The 8,457 sq.ft. renovation of the Carlsbad High School Ralph Boyer Cavemen Stadium West Stands and Pressbox.  The addition/renovation included an a new elevator, addition of the pressbox, refinish of the exterior interior surfaces and materials and new siding.

Hagerman Public Schools

Hagerman High School

In 1999 Hagerman Schools began renovating their entire campus. Many of the projects were in phases dependent on PSCOC awards. Each project had to be carefully designed as a unified whole; yet each phase had to be able to stand individually in the event that the next phase was not funded. The proper timing of the design, construction documents, and bidding were also essential to the success of each phase and to the overall completed project
